DRH Anime Style

Phew, finally it's done! I've been working on this for the whole week!! It seemed to be never-ending, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome This is the best I can do with my current drawing ability. (Hope to improve further, though) This is the gift for . I really hope she'll like it.

Well, it's the human version of the car gang from Disney "Cars". Unlike the first humanization I've done, I didn't do much of designing here; I borrowed ~Togemon's fabulous design for them (Without a proper permission, actually...I hope she doesn't mind ) All I did was a bit of alternation here and there.

I changed Snot Rod quite a bit, though. ~Togemon's version of human Snot Rod is very handsome and urbane. Although I liked her Snot Rod very much, I imagined him to be rather bratty and innocent, so I deliberately made him look younger than other 3 members in here. Meanwhile, since he's the 70s car, I featured several 70s elements in his design…like, the platform shoes, the bell bottom and the western shirt. His hairstyle is from the 70s punk rockers in the movie "Brothers of the Head". And obviously, his pose is from "Saturday Night Fever"

Boost and Wingo are wearing manufacturers' emblems, 'coz I thought it should be something like a cross in their world, considering that the manufacturers are equivalent to God. Wingo's SUBARU emblem is my little tribute to Treasure Planet. Subaru is the Japanese word for "Pleiades"

I know that humanization in Anime style is actually cheesy, but I think I put enough efforts to overcome the potential cheesiness in here. Drawing this was really, A LOT of work…
